We wanted to orientate ourselves to buy a house or apartment in Spain. And we had a dream in mind, which we were able to put into words. Only, we doubted whether this dream house even existed. When Jelco heard our story, however, he knew right away what he wanted to show us. And that was at a location that was actually not on our list. Jelco's suggestion turned out to be a bull's eye on the first visit. The tour of alternative locations gave us even more conviction about what we wanted and didn't want.
After the first visit, especially Bennie guided us. We were impressed with his knowledge and objectivity. Everything he says and does is correct. And if he wasn't convinced of something, he expressed it. With integrity and without being intrusive and with a lot of patience, he was always there for us.

Our adventure: in 2018 we became acquainted with DroomhuisSpain in Utrecht at the fair, namely Jelco, Nynke and Bennie. We were laughed at by the big project developers with our budget and they didn't put any energy into us. How different at DroomhuisSpain, all the time and super honest and they have the maxim: for every fair there is a home! We still had to work for the time being, but we now had a bit of an idea of what was involved. In November 2019 we flew to the Costa Calida and had an appointment with Jelco, he had selected some houses and apartments for us and also set aside plenty of time for us (with coffee) and listened very carefully to our wishes, within two days we we fell in love with a super nice house, which needed some work, but well within our budget, we are completely happy. We became even happier when Nynke had a Nie number for us in two days, a bank account, a law firm and a notary. Moreover, in the months that followed she really arranged everything with regard to the renovation, air conditioning, stove, cleaning, you name it, we didn't have to pay for all this and that with our modest budget! We have been living here for two months now and we can still call if there is anything, so happy with them.
