Vera Playa is located north of the main tourist resorts of Garrucha and Mojacar on Spain's Costa Almeria.
Vera Playa is the beach area stretching from Puerto Rey to Villaricos, but the actual town of Vera (aka Coto de Vera) is slightly inland and is a pretty historic village well worth a visit.
Vera Playa is unique in Spain in that it is not quite your normal beach resort due to a designated section that is one of Europe's leading naturist and nudist beach destinations.
Vera Naturista is actually a small area in 'El Playazo' - Vera Playa's beach dedicated to naturists. The rest of El Playazo, Playa Quitapellejos, Playa Puerto Rey and Las Marinas Playa are the beaches that you can just visit.
